This year I thought of coming up with materials for those of you who are just beginning to open yourselves to the English language. As usual, I found a great material to make it easier for you: English Vocabulary in Use by Stuart Redman. This book has been written to help you improve your English and it is ideal for those who study by themselves. The book has 100 two-page units: on the left you have new words and expressions (around 25 per unit) and on the right your understanding is checked through a series of exercises.

So, till next time here are some exercises to wet your appetite:

I. Rewrite these sentences using the underlined nouns as verbs. The meaning must stay the same.
