LCCI exams

The A_BEST Foreign Language Center is accredited by Pearson LCCI Qualifications (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) to organize exams such as Pearson LCCI – English for Business, LCCI – JETSET, LCCI – English for Tourism, giving you the opportunity to be granted a highly required certificate of proficiency in English.

Pearson LCCI Qualifications certificates are internationally recognized and are used as employment tools by companies around the world.

Pearson LCCI training courses are also available upon request.

The calendar of Pearson LCCI – English for Business exams, organized by A_BEST in 2020 ***:

English Level 1

  • Exam date: April 4th. Registration deadline: February 16th.

  • Exam date: June 6th. Registration deadline: April 20th.

  • Exam date: November 15th. Registration deadline: October 1st.

English Level 2

  • Exam date: April 3rd.  Registration deadline: February 16th.

  • Exam date: June 4th. Registration deadline: April 20th.

ECL exams

The A_BEST Foreign Language Center is accredited by ECL (European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages), to organize ECL testing sessions, offering the possibility of obtaining a certificate of professional competence for English/ French/ German/ Italian/ Spanish/ Russian/ Romanian.

The ECL tests are designed and graded by a renowned faculty from the native country of each of the languages that they are offering certifications. Also known as a „linguistic passport”, the ECL Certificate provides an international confirmation of the results obtained by a person that is learning a foreign language and that wishes to be part of diverse linguistic and cultural experiences.

N.B.: Young learners that during their non-tertiary studies obtain an ECL Certificate that attest their linguistic competences can be exempted from taking part in the English assessment that is part of the Baccalaureate Examination.

All the examinations will take place at the A_BEST Foreign Languages Center, on 15 A General Ernest Broşteanu Street, district 1, Bucharest (orientation: Piaţa Romană, Calea Dorobanţi, behind British Council and Tucano Coffee, 5 minute walk from Piaţa Romană subway station).

Cambridge pre-tests

A_BEST Foreign Language Center is an accredited Cambridge pre-testing center.

A_BEST Foreign Language Center organizes pre-testing sessions for the Cambridge IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exams. Candidates who register for Cambridge IELTS pre-tests will be examined for the following test parts: Listening, Reading and / or Writing.

A_BEST Foreign Language Center also organizes pre-testing sessions for Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC). Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) pre-tests confirm the mastery of the English language in real business situations. BEC exams are suitable for people who want a career in business, who want to be promoted or to develop professionally in a business setting, such as marketing, production, financial services etc.

Cambridge IELTS pre-testing sessions and Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) pre-testing sessions are FREE OF CHARGE.
