The A_BEST trainers
The A_BEST trainers are renowned for their excellent academic studies and for their enthusiasm. They have all graduated from faculties related to this field and have extensive experience in teaching foreign languages to companies. With ample studies in the language field (masters, doctoral programs, advanced training courses, etc.), most of them are part of academic institutions.
TEACHING METHOD USED: CLT (Communicative Language Teaching)
In teaching foreign languages to adults, the communicative approach is used in order to help develop the trainees’ abilities to successfully use the knowledge accumulated during the course in various social contexts, both formal and informal. A lot of emphasis is placed on improving the students’ fluency in communication exercises such as: discussions, debates, language games, role plays, etc. The teaching materials used have the purpose of supporting the interactive nature of the lessons, the target language being assimilated in context. Interactivity is encouraged, with the trainer playing the role of facilitator of the learning activities.

Alexandru Macovescu
Senior Language Trainer – English and Italian language trainer
Alexandru Macovescu is a graduate of The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, the English Language and Literature – Italian Language and Literature department, and of the MA Programme for the Translation of the Contemporary Literary Text from the University of Bucharest.
Alexandru holds the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, and he is a certified translator of English and Italian and an attested examiner for the speaking part of LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) English for Business test.
Alexandru is communicative and adaptable to various teaching contexts, and has an agreeable personality, which enables him to facilitate trainer-learner communication. He has experience in teaching both English and Italian, as well as in translating (literary texts for publishing houses, articles for magazines and for online publications). Alexandru uses a modern, participatory teaching method, maintaining the learners’ interest throughout the lessons. With over 10 years’ experience in teaching corporate courses, Alexandru adapts to the various requirements from learners, customizing the course materials according to the company profile and to the specific needs of the learners.
At the A_BEST Foreign Language Center, Alexandru teaches general English, English for business and mixed English courses, general Italian and Italian for business, and Romanian language courses for foreigners, successfully adapting the theoretical knowledge to the learners’ work environment.
Magdalena Ciornei
Senior Language Trainer – English and French language trainer
Magdalena Ciornei is a graduate of The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, the English Language and Literature – French Language and Literature department, class of 2008, and a graduate of the European Masters in Conference Interpreting Master’s Programme from the University of Bucharest.
Magdalena is a certified translator and interpreter of English and she holds the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English and the advanced French language diploma (Diplôme approfondi de langue française – DALF) issued by the French Ministry of Education.
Magdalena has a vast experience in teaching English and French to adult learners in various companies and institutes in Bucharest, and has also collaborated with the University of Bucharest on a teaching project. Moreover, Magdalena has worked on many translation, adaptation and interpeeting projects for multinational companies.
Magdalena is an efficient organizer and communicator, with excellent critical thinking abilities and a varied experience in working with professionals from different lines of business. During the language lessons, Magdalena relies very much on communication and speaking practice and she adapts the lesson content to the specific needs of the learners.
Magdalena teaches English and French, focused both on general language and on business vocabulary and skills, at the A_Best Foreign Language Centre and at the multinational companies’ premises.
Miruna Pință
Senior Language Trainer – English Language Trainer
Miruna Pinţă is a graduate of The Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, the English Language and Literature – Spanish Language and Literature department from the Ovidius University in Constanţa, and a graduate of the MA Programme for the Translation of the Contemporary Literary Text from the University of Bucharest.
Miruna is passionate about teaching and she believes that the best way to develop in this field is by putting theory into practice. Miruna has been teaching English for over 8 years, and throughout her career she has delivered many English language courses, especially for learners from multinational companies in Bucharest. Miruna is permanently trying to help learners improve their use of English, gauging their progress both by personalized teaching material and by eliciting feedback and constant interaction from learners during lessons.
Miruna’s outstanding teaching competence has enabled her to strike a balance between the 4 language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. She can effortlessly adapt to various work environments, contributing her positive energy and her creativity to build rapport with all learners.
Miruna teaches general English, English for business and mixed English courses, focusing on the immediate application of theoretical knowledge to the learners’ work environment.
Ana Maria Lupașcu
Senior Language Trainer – French language trainer
Ana-Maria Lupaşcu has graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest, specializing in French Language and Literature – Romanian Language and Literature. She has a Master’s at the same university, specializing in Literary Studies. Moreover, Ana-Maria was granted an Erasmus scholarship, enabling her to specialize in Literary Studies, at Lille University in France. Ana-Maria attended the Certification courses for the teaching profession – Level I and II, at the Department of Teacher Training, within the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences – University of Bucharest.
Ana-Maria holds the DEFI certificate issued by Lille University in France and the Cambridge English certificate.
Ana-Maria Lupaşcu is a creative, communicative and very well-organized person. At the courses, Ana-Maria uses a modern, participative teaching method, keeping the students focused throughout the lessons. She has extensive experience in teaching French, especially to employees from multinational companies in Bucharest. Because she is a good-natured person, she can build very good relations with all the course participants.
At the A_BEST Foreign Language Center, Ana-Maria Lupaşcu teaches French, general/business/mixed language courses, successfully adapting the theoretical notions to the learners’ work interests.
